Ask yourself a question. I'd like you to compare two different work of two different artist.  For instance take a good look at some of the works of Iman maleki. He is concidered to be a top Realist among the artists of his country Iran. I would like you to take a look at any of his work and ask yourself what is the difference of what you see and Photo-Realism? I would then like you to take a look at the face of this old woman from Abianeh on my page and  delve into a bit of  comparison .  If one is Realism then what is the other? We've already established that true Impressionist does not hold any anatomy so forget calling this piece Impressionist. Which of the two carry more of an artistic value? Why does one appeal to you more than the other if indeed what you see here you find more appealing than Iman Maleki's work? 

 Realism may very well be  far from our traditional  understanding and what we view it as. So begins your journey to the finer perceptive of art and its different doctrines.
